Types of Visits

Membership starts with the Initial Consultation and continues with an 8 Month Wellness Intensive. Once we have built the foundation, we will then move on to special topics based on your interest.

After the Intensive, membership continues to track your personalized goals and wellness journey.

Initial Consultation

90 minute session

A comprehensive, in-person evaluation starting with a detailed picture of your medical history, family history, current medications and current lifestyle routine. We combine this with a comprehensive physical exam testing markers for health and longevity.

This is not your typical click box questionnaire. The crux of this meeting is a nuanced discussion about your wellness and longevity goals. This factors in your risk for common diseases and your vision for your aging process.

To plan for the future, we discuss how laboratory testing and advanced diagnostics fit into your strategy for wellness. Take the first steps toward your plan, with practical, evidence-based nutrition and fitness recommendations.

Follow up

30 minute session

An opportunity to check your location on the roadmap toward your longevity and wellness journey. Review diagnostic testing to dive into what the results really mean to you.

Highlight progress with your nutrition, sleep and physical fitness routines, and make changes to any bumps in the road.

Make a new destination on your journey, by expanding your goals, or finding new interests.

Movement Meeting

50 minute session

Meet at your gym, a nearby park or wherever you imagine you will take your fitness plan to the next level. We will (literally) meet you where you are on your journey, to develop a personalized exercise routine.

If you are new to fitness, it can be intimidating to be in a gym. We can help you learn about equipment, adjust your technique, and build confidence in your routine. We can also start a movement routine at a local park, or discuss other ways to keep you moving—like yoga or dance.

Already a fitness enthusiast? Simple adjustments can help push through a slump, increase efficiency, or add variety to your regimen.

Nutrition Meeting

50 minute session

Thinking about what we eat crosses many plains of our social and family lives. We seek to understand your nutritional history, through your wellness goals, to go beyond the standard advice of “eat better”.

Learn about how what you eat influences chronic disease, and take home actionable changes based on scientific findings to steady your path to a healthier life. Discuss advanced nutritional testing or if continuous glucose monitoring is right for you.

Sleep Meeting

30 minute session

Often ignored in a standard medical setting, sleep is critically important to a healthy life. While many secrets of sleep are still to be discovered, we can shine light on what habits can contribute to your longevity.

Explore your sleep environment and routine, within the setting of your employment and family life. Learn how to add to your toolbox for regular, and deeper sleep, to wake up feeling energized. If needed, discuss advance diagnostics like an at-home sleep study.

Special Topics/Check In

30 minute sessions

At each check-in, we spend time in an honest review of your progress. Identify dips in the road, and honor the successes. This is also a time to add more color into the painting of your journey, with adjustments to your goals.

Now that we know each other better, we can also focus on specific areas of your interest. Dig deeper, with information you can trust on the topics that are most interesting to you.

Topics might include Sauna and Contrast Therapy, Cognition, Hair Loss, Menopause, Weight Management, Hormones, Gut Biome, Skincare, Protecting Your Senses, and more.

Other Membership Benefits

  • On the weeks between sessions, hinoki will text you to check-in on your progress. We want to hear your successes and struggles!

  • Periodically, Dr. Werner will host a group workout. We might meet at a local park for a group run, do a body weight circuit or play basketball. The exercise will change but the goal of movement will stay the same!

  • Hot off the presses evidence-based medicine updates right to your email.

  • Our priority is you, so we offer appointment times on weekends and evenings. Can’t make two 30 minute sessions one month? We can combine your visits into one 60 minute session instead. We work around your schedule, not the other way around.
